Our New Jersey Pathways to Career Opportunities Initiative has brought together over 1,200 partners statewide to propel NJ’s economy to new heights.
The New Jersey Workplace Literacy and Basic Skills Training Program has helped more than 13,000 employers educate more than 210,000 employees at our 18 Community Colleges.
Our New Jersey Manufacturing Skills Initiative delivers education and training to meet the needs of employers while serving as a statewide repository and ambassador for all manufacturing related education and training activities including (1) career awareness programs, (2) dual enrollment programs, (3) pre-apprenticeships, (4) registered apprenticeships, (5) industry credential training, (6) college degree programs, (7) community-based training programs, and (8) experiential learning opportunities.

The New Jersey Workplace Literacy & Basic Skills Training Program delivers training to your employees at no additional cost. Through this program, the Community Colleges provide ESL, communications skills, computer skills, and management acumen at your local Community College or your facility. Customized training is also available based on your company’s needs.

The New Jersey Manufacturing Skills initiative will promote a unified vision and structure for manufacturing education and training for secondary education (high school career awareness, dual enrollment and vocational technical training), workforce development training, and post-secondary education throughout the state. This initiative will provide a skilled and innovative workforce to meet the manufacturing industry needs by connecting, enhancing, and creating more pathways with a focus on equity to afford individuals the opportunity to earn industry value credentials (including apprenticeships), prepare for entry-level jobs, and achieve career advancement.
