Dalia Cancel Batista represents the pinnacle of academic achievement and service. Graduating from Mercer County Community College with three simultaneous degrees in Engineering, Physics, and Mathematics, Dalia’s journey began when she entered college at just 16 years old. Beyond her exceptional coursework, she has completed over 600 hours as a medical intern and serves as a STEM tutor and Honors Ambassador. Her leadership as President of the MCCC American Society for Highway Engineers Student Chapter and her original research presentations at national conferences underscore her readiness to contribute to the global scientific community. Dalia is a semifinalist for the Jack Kent Cooke Transfer Scholarship and remains deeply committed to advancing educational equity through STEM outreach for middle and high school students.
