Lisa Dougherty, Ed.D.

Dr. Lisa Dougherty is the Senior Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment at Hudson County Community College, where she has been a driving force for student success since 2016. She has led the implementation of nationally acclaimed programs such as Hudson Scholars, a student support model that provides proactive advisement and financial stipends, and the Hudson Helps Resource Center for wraparound services. Her focus on whole-life needs includes overseeing the establishment of the HCCC Mental Health Counseling and Wellness Center and programs for student parents. A first-generation college graduate herself, Dr. Dougherty is laser-focused on removing barriers to academic success.
