Mark Sandson practiced law for over 30 years and was appointed a Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey in 2007, serving until his retirement in 2020. In his years on the bench, he served in the Family Division, was the Presiding Judge of the Chancery Division, General Equity, and a Recovery Court Judge in Atlantic and Cape May Counties. Judge Sandson currently serves as the Vice Chair for the Judiciary Opportunities for Building Success (JOBS) Program.

Created by Chief Justice Stuart Rabner, the JOBS Program is dedicated to helping remove barriers to stable employment for probation clients. Judge Sandson worked with President Harvey Kesselman to pilot the program at Stockton University. The JOBS Program is a partner of the New Jersey Presidents’ Council and works with New Jersey’s colleges and universities to support education and workforce development training and funds internships for those on probation.
