Samuel Aloi

Samuel Aloi is the Director of Legislative Development for the New Jersey Assembly Majority Office. Mr. Aloi has served in several high-impact roles within the State Legislature, including as an Aide to the Higher Education, Education, and Budget committees. His work has been instrumental in shaping policies that support community colleges and advance educational opportunities for students across the state. Mr. Aloi worked closely with the Council to envision an Opportunity Agenda bill package that resulted in five new laws signed by the Governor to modernize the Council; codify the Pathways to Career Opportunities Initiative; create an industry valued credential list; expand access to social service supports for students; and foster stronger collaboration between community colleges and the public workforce system. His commitment to public service and deep understanding of the legislative process embody the spirit of community colleges.
