NJCCC Honored as NJBIZ 2025 Health Care Heroes Education Hero
We are thrilled to announce that the New Jersey Council of County Colleges (NJCCC) has been named a 2025 NJBIZ Health Care Education Hero for its leadership in advancing life sciences and biomanufacturing workforce development through the NJBioFutures initiative. This prestigious recognition celebrates our commitment to equitable access, industry collaboration, and building inclusive career pathways in the healthcare and biotechnology sectors.
NJBioFutures, created under the NJ Pathways to Career Opportunities Initiative, is New Jersey’s strategic workforce solution designed to meet the growing talent demands of the pharmaceutical and biomanufacturing industries. With support from the New Jersey Economic Development Authority and partnerships with leaders such as Johnson & Johnson, BioNJ, and HINJ, NJBioFutures equips high school students, college learners, and adult workers with the skills needed to thrive in this evolving field.
Three community colleges spearheading this initiative are:
- Raritan Valley Community College (lead institution)
- Middlesex College
- Mercer County Community College
