Amazon Partners with New Jersey Community Colleges to Move Closer to Reaching its “Upskilling 2025” Pledge
Trenton, New Jersey, March 3, 2022 – The New Jersey Council of County Colleges (NJCCC) today announces a partnership between Amazon and New Jersey Community Colleges where Amazon will fully-fund tuition costs for its front-line employees. This is part of Amazon’s national Career Choice initiative to meet its “Upskilling 2025” pledge – a $1.2 billion commitment to upskill more than 300,000 Amazon employees by 2025.
In New Jersey, front-line employees will have access to the following Community Colleges:
Camden County College (Camden City and Blackwood Campuses, The Rohrer Center)
Hudson County Community College
Mercer College (James Kerney and West Windsor Campuses)
Middlesex College (Edison and New Brunswick Campuses, Perth Amboy Center)
Rowan College at Burlington County
Rowan College of South Jersey
