On behalf of the New Jersey Apprenticeship Technical Assistance Collaborative (NJ-ATAC), we invite you to join us on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 for our Spring 2024 Registered Apprenticeship Convening. This free training session will take place from 9:30 am – 3:00 pm at Mercer County Community College’s West Windsor Campus Conference Center (1200 Old Trenton Rd., West Windsor, NJ 08550).
About NJ A-TAC
NJ A-TAC is a statewide initiative supported by the New Jersey Department of Labor and operated by the New Jersey Council of County Colleges (NJCCC), in partnership with nationally recognized experts from AIR and JFF. A-TAC provides technical assistance designed to help expand Registered Apprenticeship programs in New Jersey, with a goal of promoting best in class diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.
About the Spring 2024 Registered Apprenticeship Convening
Representatives involved with registered apprenticeship from workforce boards, One Stop Career Centers, community colleges, and other education and workforce partners are invited to join the NJ A-TAC team, along with leaders from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Apprenticeship and the New Jersey Department of Labor.

The Spring 2024 Apprenticeship Convening will offer opportunities to collaborate on the strategic alignment of resources, investments, and efforts across the workforce and education system to achieve New Jersey’s vision for Registered Apprenticeship expansion.
NJ-ATAC is a partnership of the New Jersey Council of County Colleges (NJCCC), the American Institutes for Research (AIR), and Jobs for the Future (JFF), with support from the New Jersey Department of Labor (NJDOL). NJ A-TAC supports technical assistance to expand registered apprenticeship programs while promoting best-in-class diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.
This first NJ A-TAC Community of Practice (CoP) webinar provided an overview of the CoP for Focus Sites (NJ community colleges and local workforce development boards), including details of the monthly learning events and coaching activities. Also, this session highlighted a community college’s critical role in Registered Apprenticeship as a sponsor, related technical instruction (RTI) provider, and other functions with presentations from Adrienne Summers, Executive Director of Apprenticeships, at the American Association of Community College (AACC) and Melissa Richards, Apprenticeship & Business Training Program Coordinator, Center for Workforce Development, at East Central College in Union, MO.
